Kirk Cousins brings the Falcons another win in dramatic fashion against the Bucs 36-30
Captain Kirk's nickname should be comeback king. It seems like the Falcons are always coming back from the dead and stealing victories from opponents this season.
Lets' take it to the fourth quarter. Dow by three with minutes ticking off the clock, Cousins put together a drive to get the Falcons in field goal position for the game tying field goal. The sequence with getting the field goal attempt off was very bizarre. Atlanta had only .10 seconds left on a third down attempt, Cousins threw a dart to his receiver, who did not go out bounds, but instead cut up the field to make the field goal attempt much easier. After he went down, Atlanta had to rush to clock the ball and got it done with only a second later.
You would think the Falcons would tye the game up with everything going right, but no. After AtL clocked the ball, they ended up getting a delay of the game, which pushed the field goal to 49-yard attempt. The kicker nailed it and pushed the game into OT in which the Falcons scored a touchdown for the go-ahead victory. Cousins finished the game 509 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 pick.
