The project will also see a deluxe edition, packaged as a comedy album, featuring comedic interludes that showcase Keke as Keyana, the lead singer of DivaGurl. These skits humorously build on the fictional reality show DivaGurl, currently streaming on her media network, KeyTV.
Keyana serves as a satirical take on the larger-than-life personalities seen in reality TV, drawing parallels to figures like K. Michelle, Kandi Burruss, and Tamar Braxton. The storyline chronicles Keyana’s chaotic rise to fame, using the girl group as a launchpad for her solo ambitions. Aesthetically, DivaGurl pays homage to iconic girl group imagery, reimagining classic album covers from TLC, Destiny's Child, and the Pussycat Dolls, thereby igniting a fresh era of girl group lore that entertains a new generation through music, fashion, and comedy.
