Jimmy Allen and Gabby Barrett win in new male and female artist of the year at the ACM's
Nashville- With the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards, the producers announced that Jimmy Allen and Gabby Barrett won new male and female artist of the year.
Keith Urban, who will be hosting the awards, heard that Barrett and Allen won in the categories and sent out a personalized video to congratulate both of the artists.

Jimmie and Gabby have experienced tremendous success at both Country Radio and streaming already, and we are proud to recognize them for such an extraordinary start to their careers,” said Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music. “A huge congratulations to each of them for this well-deserved win, and to all of our nominees for being recognized for their incredible contributions to Country Music. We look forward to welcoming Jimmie and Gabby to the ACM Awards stage on April 18. April 18 at 8 PM, ET, the awards will be in full swing, as they celebrate country music. There will be limited fans in attendance and will be required to follow COVID-19 safety protocol.
