James Cook and the Bills cooked the Dolphins 31-10
The Buffalo Bills picked up a 31-10 win over the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday Night Football as James Cook scored three touchdowns to help the Bills improve to 12-1 in their last 13 games against them.
Quarterback Josh Allen threw for 139 yards and 1 touchdown. Wide receiver Khalil Shakir led all Bills receivers with five catches for 54 yards. The man of the night was James Cook. It was a good day for him as he got going early in the game and finished the day with 78 rushing yards, two touchdowns on the ground and one through the air. Safe to say he enjoyed the fish fry tonight.
Buffalo's defense also enjoyed the fish fry. With a total of 10 tackles, safety Damar Hamlin, LB Dorian Williams, and LB Baylon Spector led the defense in tackles. Christian Benford and Ja'Marcus Ingram both caught interceptions, and Ingram ran one back for a touchdown.
As if the Dolphins' season couldn't get more brutal,
Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion late in the third quarter. This was after a helmet-to-helmet hit left him on the ground for several minutes while players kneeled around him. Under his own power, he walked off the field and into the locker room. In an eerily quiet Hard Rock Stadium, Dolphins and Bills fans alike gasped in shock after Tagovailoa was hit. Prayers for Tua. This is his third diagnosed concussion of his NFL career.
