Jalen Hurts and his improvement in training camp

Philadelphia- Going into his first full season as the starter, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts have received a lot of praise and different ways he could improve from his head coach Nick Sirianni.

Hurts has a lot to prove since taking over the starter position with the franchise. After Carson Wentz forced the Eagles' hand with trading him to the Colts this offseason, all of the Eagles' success rests on Hurts' shoulder. Hurts has a powerful arm and showed maturity with throwing the ball out of bounds when nothing was there in the few games he started in last year.

Hurts is still figuring out the new offensive scheme, but his head coach Nick Siranni has took noticed and see the areas where he can improve at. Right now, the Eagles' QB coach are working with Hurts on moving his feet. "It's a work-in-progress. You're just trying to get a little bit better at that each day but, again, it starts with trying to do the right thing with your drop. Just like any fundamental, you want to get better at it. You have to drill – you have to walk it, you have to drill it and then you have to carry it over to the team. It takes time for what we want him to do on each play," said Siranni.

The Eagles look to bounce back from having a 4-11-1 record. With the additions that the Eagles grabbed in free agency, as well as the 2021 NFL Draft, the future looks bright for Hurts and crew
