Issa Rae will receive the Visionary Award at the 33rd annual Producers Guild of America (PGA)

The talented and goal driven Issa Rae will be highlighted at the 33rd annual Producers Guild of America, March 19 for her contribution to the film industry. Rae has been an inspiration for many people around the world with her devotion with building her brand and helping more people of color land positions either in the entertainment or music field. Rae's ambition of knowing her worth and value with her show Insecure helped the show land 11 nominations and 1 Emmy.

Outside of Rae being honored, Greg Berlanti (Norman Lear Award), Kathleen Kennedy (Milestone Award)and George Lucas (Milestone Award), Rita Moreno (Stanley Kramer Award) and, Mary Parent (David O. Selznick Award) will be highlighted as well.
