The overall number one pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft was Rhyne Howard, who was picked up by the Atlanta Dream. Second on deck was the Indiana Fever and they went and grabbed NaLyssa Smith. The Mystics drafted Shakira Austin third, the Fever drafted Emily Engstler, and the Liberty crashed the boards, getting Nyara Sabally. Those were the top five women to be drafted.
