Giulia makes anticipated debut at NXT No Mercy



Labor Day weekend 2024 was the weekend for WWE PLE’s whether it was Saturday’s Bash in Berlin or Sunday’s NXT No Mercy wrestling fans were treated to a great weekend of sports entertainment. NXT’s No Mercy saw five championships being defended with one changing hands. It also saw the debut of Japanese superstar Giulia making her much anticipated debut.


Axiom & Nathan Frazer vs. Chase U (Andre Chase & Ridge Holland) (c) (NXT Tag Team Championship)- This match saw new champions being crowned as Axiom and Frazier were able to regain their title. However, this wasn’t the story of the match Post-match, Ridge Holland snaps and lays waste to his Chase U teammates, throwing them barricade to steps. Holland picks up Andre Chase and military pressing him over the ropes and to the floor before clearing the announce desk. He shoves Thea Hail aside and puts Andre on the table. Ridge looks at how violent his hands are while Thea sobs and Andre Chase is stretched out.


Wes Lee vs. Zachary Wentz- Story of the match was how Wes Lee turned on his former best friend and tag partner. Lee spent much of the match as the aggressor. Wentz took a tumble into the wreckage of the announce desk, Wes climbs up top... DIVING SEATED SENTON TO THE FLOOR! Wentz gets back in the ring; Wes gets a chair to finish him, but Trey Miguel is here and takes the chair away from him! FLIP PILEDRIVER FROM ZACH WENTZ. Wentz hits the UFO! For the 123. Later in the night Eva announces Wentz and Miguel will be in a number one contenders match for the NXT tag champions, 


Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wendy Choo (NXT Women’s North American Championship)- Jordan was able to retain after a solid back and forth. Post-match, Tatum Paxley appears and chokes Wendy Choo out with a Dragon sleeper before leaving a doll in her likeness on her unconscious body,


Oba Femi (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo (NXT North American Championship)- Femi continued his dominant reign; no one he has faced so far is able to match his power. The closing segments of the match Femi was able to land powerbomb after powerbomb. 


Jaida Parker vs. Roxanne Perez (c) (NXT Women’s Championship)- There’s no doubt Parker is a future star in this division. Perez used some dirty tactics to get the win. After her Pop Rox was blocked, Parker with the hip attack but Perez falls to the floor!Roxanne shoves her through the timekeeper’s barricade! POP ROX ON THE FLOOR! Referee counting and both women beat the count! Pop Rox inside. Perez wins. Post-match, Giulia makes her entrance and obviously positions herself as Roxanne’s next challenger.


“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Joe Hendry (NXT Championship)-Special guest referee Trick Williams made a vow the entire night to call the match right down the middle and he did that. Hendry slips out of Ego’s Edge, gets All Ego up for his own.. RAZOR’S EDGE FOR TWO! Trading right hands, big lariat from Joe, fallaway slam, kip-up and he’s rolling. Standing Ovation, ALL EGO’S FOOT IS UNDER THE ROPES! Trick patiently explains to Hendry that he had to make the call. Page grabs the belt and goes back in, schoolboy counters for two, DDT on the belt... TRICK SLIDES in to stop the ref’s county. Page tries to punch Williams but Williams ducks and Page clocks the other ref. TRICK IS DISTRACTED AND DOESN’T SEE A LOW BLOW from Page to Hendry.  Page hits his finisher for the 123. Post-match, Ethan insists Trick raise his hand and he does so reluctantly. Pete Dunne attacks Trick on the floor and lays him out with Bitter End!
