Four designers were announced for upcoming fashion show in Australia

Img Next Gen announced their four designers, who were selected for the upcoming Australian Fashion week. Next Gen prize is valued at over $100,000. Each winner was selected for both their experience in design and ability to harness fashion’s power as a means of communicating important societal issues that influence culture.

The The four winning designers were Xizhu Wu, Ruby Pedder, Liandra Gaykamangu, Cameron Hill will debut their winning collections at Australian fashion week May 19 in Sydney. Each designers will also gain exposure from industry professionals buyers, editors, global livestream that will reach markets outside of Australia. Next Gen was founded in 1996 to bring Australia’s emerging designers to the forefront. Brands like Akira, Anna Quan, BEC + BRIDGE, CAMILLA AND MARC and sass & bide, and many more were discovered by next Gen.
