Fever blown out by Liberty 104-68
The Fever looked a bit gassed, playing their second consecutive back-to-back game. After defeating the Chicago Sky on Saturday, they had to play the New York Liberty. In the series, the Fever were 1-1, but tonight it was over before it even started. In the first quarter, New York's offense exploded and scored 32 points in the quarter and finished the half on a 20-12 run.
Caitlin Clark tried to get her team back in the game by playing more of a point role than forcing up shots. Coming out the second half, Indiana went on an 8-2 run and cut the lead down to 17 from a 21-point lead. However, Stewie and crew, shut down the comeback and made life difficult for Indiana. Fever went onto lose the game. Clark finished with only 3 points.
