Epic Tag-Team match scheduled for night one main event of Wrestlemania

For the last two years WWE’s Bloodline storyline has been one of the most cinematic storylines the wrestling industry has ever seen. As we approach Wrestlemania 40 in a few weeks the storyline continues to grow more legs as the most electrifying man of all of sports entertainment The Rock joined his cousins.

Cody Rhodes and world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins appeared on Friday night's episode of SmackDown and accepted a challenge laid down by The Rock for WrestleMania 40. On Night 1 of WrestleMania in Philadelphia next month, Rhodes and Rollins will team up to face The Rock and undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns with some major stipulations added to the pot.

If The Rock and Reigns win, then the Night 2 main event between Rhodes and Reigns for the WWE universal title will be fought under Bloodline rules, meaning anything goes. However, if Rhodes and Rollins win, then The Bloodline will be barred from getting involved in the Rhodes vs. Reigns title bout. 

The chippiness of the rivalry took off on Friday when a war of words broke out when The Rock called Cody Rhodes' birth a "mistake." Rhodes slapped The Rock in the face. The Rock tossed his mic outside the ring and appeared ready to fight Rhodes before Reigns calmed him down as the show went off the air.

The star power and the stakes of this match could make this the biggest tag team match in the history of wrestling. Wrestlemania 40 is shaping up to be one for the ages.
