Emily Zaler helps promote and launch a campaign to make women's flag football a high school sport

Denver- Broncos assistant Emily Zaler and other women who are pioneering women empowerment in the NFL are launching a campaign to make flag football a high school varsity sport.

The NFL and women like Emily Zaler, Jennifer King, Chelsea Romero, and others who are changing the dynamic of women's equality are using their voice to raise awareness about women football. Each of these women has been an advocate for wanting women's flag football to be a sport in high school.

"A million more boys than girls get to play sports in high school," Nike stated in a video announcing the initiative. "Because they have football."

To help change that narrative, Nike and the NFL have pledged $5 million to help make women's flag football a varsity sport.
