Eagles send the Packers packing

The Philadelphia Eagles got down to business right from the jump. They recovered a fumble by Green Bay Packers returner Keisean Nixon, which put the Eagles on the Packers’ 28-yard line. Quarterback Jalen Hurts found Jahan Dotson for an 11-yard touchdown three plays later. The defense picked off Jordan Love twice in the first half.

Holding onto a 19-10 lead in the fourth, the Eagles forced a turnover on downs when Green Bay had a fourth-and-3 on its own 41 with five minutes left in the game. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 123 yards from scrimmage to lead the offense

Quinyon Mitchell intercepted Love with 1:51 left in the game that sealed the win for the NFC East champions. They'll host a division game next week at the Linc.

In his first game since a late-season concussion, Jalen Hurts threw two touchdown passes, Dallas Goedert threw three stiff-arms for a touchdown catch, and the Philly Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 22-10 in the wild-card playoffs.

Hurts threw for 131 yards in his return from a three-week layoff after a concussion in December.   The quarterback opened the game with six straight completions, then held off the Packers with a touchdown pass to Goedert in the third quarter that will be forever etched in the franchise's postseason highlights.  Philadelphia's defense handled the rest.

In the loss, Jacobs ran for 81 yards and scored Green Bay's lone touchdown to put together a strong performance. This was a day to forget for Jordan Love. Love threw for 212 yards and was intercepted three times as he nursed a sore right elbow hurt in the regular-season finale against Chicago.  Better days ahead for this kid
