Dodgers will celebrate with fans at a later date

Los Angeles- After defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the World Series, 3-1 and winning the World Series, the Dodgers have decided to celebrate with their fans when it is safe to do so.

The City of Angeles have been singing "We are the Champions" for the Los Angeles Lakers and now the Los Angeles Dodgers for the past few days. Both organizations wanted to celebrate with their fans, but due to the rise of COVID-19 they have decided to postpone any type of celebrations.

The Dodgers released a statement earlier today about the celebration. "This season was everything we believed it could be. It was just missing one thing: The best fans in baseball. While the wait for a World Championship is finally over, a celebration worthy of our great fans and the City of Los Angeles will unfortunately have to wait until it is safe to do so. We can’t wait to celebrate together!"
