Dodgers' crash in the eighth against the Padres 5-2

Los Angeles- With a tied game in the eighth, the Dodgers' defense allowed three runs, which helped the San Diego Padres eventually win the game 5-2.

Dennis Santana was looking good until Eric Hosmer hit a ball down the middle of the field, which allowed the Padres to score. A couple plays later Santana allowed another hitter to strike the ball down the side of the left field which sprung two more score. At top of the ninth, the Dodgers' offense stalled and eventually went on to lose a tough game.

For the first time this season, fans announcers, as well as teams around the lead has stated this was just the tip of the iceberg of this new found rivalry.
