Despite a few hiccups in her routine, Suni Lee wins Bronze in Bars

Tokyo- Suni Lee wins Bronze on Bars.

After a long week, with seeing if Simone Biles was up for bars, Biles decided that she was not in the right head space mentally, thus springing forward Lee. Usually Lee is excellent with the bars, but today she was a bit off. Lee missed a few connections, but did just enough to score 14.500, which gave Team USA third place.

Lee has shined in the absence of Biles and silenced critics on the depth of Team USA. She has won three medals in her Olympic debut and looks to be the next upcoming star on Team USA gymnastics squad.
