Cowboys keeps playoff hopes alive with victory over Giants 27-20
Dallas have had so many injuries that happened this season that they were looking for some type of miracle and hope to get a victory on Thanksgiving. Cooper Rush was very productive in the first half with getting his team down the field but only had six points to show for it offensively. However, the Cowboys added a pick six as they picked off Drew Lock and took it to the house early in the second quarter. For most of the half, the Cowboys' offense went from high flying to more of a dud quarter. Cee Dee Lamb dropped a few passes, and their running attacked struggled to get the legs churning. Walking into the half, Dallas had a 13-10 lead.
After an ugly half of football, Dallas wanted to come out the gate and get Lamb the ball early on to find some type of rhythm between QB and wide receiver. Instead of Lamb making huge plays, Brandon Cooks got into the mix and actually made some huge plays and scored a touchdown at the start of the third quarter. Rico Dowdle put the finishing touches on the game with a touchdown. Rush finished with 195 yards through the air, and 1 touchdown
