Coco Gauff avoids upset against Elina Svitolina

After coming off a rough match, Coco Gauff wanted to improve her first serve against an opponent in Elina Svitolina.

In the first match, Gauff started out very slow, had a lot of mistakes that kept her winning games and did not look like the favorite to win the Open. Svitolina took the first set 6-3, and it looked like she was going to pull off the upset, but Gauff but her cape on and full Wonder Woman on her. Gauff forced a winner take all match, after winning the second set 6-3 and claim victory in the third and final set 6-3.

Gauff has not looked sharp as of late, but her grit and the way she has handled adversity is being noticed.
