Chad Frigon named Chiefs Eric Driskell 2024 High School Coach of the year

Liberty High School Head Coach Chad Frigon has been named the Erik Driskell High School Coach of the Year by the Kansas City Chiefs.  Frigon led Liberty High School to a 9-4 record earning the first district title since 2005 which led to a Class 6 semifinal appearance where the team fell short against De Smet Jesuit High School.  Frigon has been with the program for 30 years and has now completed his 14th year with the Varsity head coaching position.  The joint initiative with the Kansas City Chiefs recognizes and rewards Kansas City area high school coaches that are strong leaders on the field and in the community while shaping the youth.
