Canelo Alvarez ends Caleb Plant with a TKO in the 11th round

Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant has been an intense match in the making. Both fighters cannot stand each other, which made it must see tv on Saturday. All of the chatter, insults, and promotion of the fight was finally laid to rest. With a lot at stake, it would be only one fighter that would leave the ring the undisputed super middle weight champion. Who would it be?

Alvarez started the first few rounds very slow, trying to feel Plant out. Plant took advantage of Alverez's slow start and kept him at bay with some body shots, as well as left jabs. Alvarez started to throw more shots in the fourth and fifth. He stunned Plant with power shots a couple of times, but Plant recovered quickly. The sixth round was Canelo's best round.He was the aggressor and hit Plant with some body shots that hurt plant. Confidence started flow from Canelo's hands and it had Plant a little flustered. In the later rounds, Plant did a good job to disrupt the timing of Canelo. Each time it seemed like Canelo was able to throw the left hook, Plant would tie him up.The rounds was very close. In the 11th round, Canelo slammed the door shut with a TKO and gave Plant his first loss in his professional career.
