Caitlin Clark goes to Indiana, Reese goes to Chicago
What a day for women's basketball and the WNBA. For the first time ever, the arena sold out and national media were excited about the 2024 draft class, which could potentially be the best class ever. Double C' Sniper Caitlin Clark was the first player to get drafted and as promoted, she was drafted the Indiana Fever, going in at number 2 was Cameron Brink with the Sparks. The Sparks are in a rebuilding stage and needed a two-way player that can be effective on both sides of the floor and that is what Brink brings to the table.
Chicago gets two big centers in Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. The Wings grabbed Jacy Sheldon, while the Mystics took AAliyah Edwards. Many other picks were selected but these were the players we were tracking.
