With a chance to make a case to get a bye in the new college football tournament with a win over Texas, the Bulldogs had to endure a lot of obstacles. For starters, their commander in chief in Carson Beck was injured late in the second quarter with an elbow injury and they lost their punter in the third quarter.

Despite all of their injuries, GA regained their composure and had a slight lead heading into the fourth. However, Texas struck back as Quinn Ewers hit Deandre Moore Jr. for a 41-take it to the crib touchdown to tie the game. If you were a fan of both teams, you were not sitting on your couch relaxing, but on the edge of your seat seeing what team would make a big play to win the game. If you are talking about rolling the dice, the Bulldogs rolled not only the dice, but potential field position as they caught the Longhorns napping on a fourth and short. They faked a punt, and a couple plays later had to settle for a field goal after being stopped at the three-yard line. GA nailed the field goal, making it a 16-13 game with under four minutes left in regulation.

Ga's defense was on their heels with .30 seconds left in regulation as the Longhorns got into the redzone. Needing some type of defensive stop and force a 30 plus field goal, GA got their wish after the Bulldogs stopped Texas on a third down conversion. Texas tied the game and forced OT.

Texas scored a field goal in OT, which forced GA to either score a touchdown or a field goal. The Bulldogs went to work and finished out the drive with a touchdown to claim victory and become the SEC Champs.
