Broncos sign G Quinn Meinerz to 4-year contract extension
The Denver Broncos have extended the contract for guard Quinn Meinerz, including a 4-year deal that will extend to 2028. Meinerz comes into the season after 4 years in the NFL appearing in 45 games (39 starts) after being drafted in the third-round (98th overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft. Meinerz was drafted after he took advantage of his Senior Bowl appearance where his stock rose after a great week of practice at the event. He played his college ball at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (Division III) and has accounted for 2,412 snaps in his NFL career which has been third most on the Broncos in that time span. Meinerz 23 quarterback pressures allowed were tied for fourth fewest among guards with at least 625 pass blocking snaps while his 16 quarterback hurries were the third fewest among those at his position.
