British Fashion Council’s Third Annual INSTITUTE OF POSITIVE FASHION FORUM


On April 20th, the British Fashion Council, held their 3rd Annual Institute of Positive Fashion Forum (IPF), in London.


Key players in the fashion industry, business owners, etc discussed poignant topics, and issues that affect the global climate and growth of the fashion market in the UK and worldwide. This was an “Action” filled day, that was about “doing”, and making industry change.


The day long event was filled with discussions, forums, workshops and more all focused on then industry coming together as a whole. There were several key note speakers, who focused on climate change in the industry, and how to further stimulate its growth with diversity.


Some keynote speakers were: Tyler Motte, Marketing Director of Patagonia, Joon Silverstien, SVP of Global Marketing. For Coachtopia, Dr. Sally Uren, Chief Executive of Forum for the Future, & Dr. Dimitrios Tsivrikos, Consumer Business Psychologist.


Several students, from BMF colleges, were recognized and showcased for their work using Deadstock fabrics.


The IPF continues to be a proud collaborator and partnership with the United Nations to continue its awareness in what they call “The Decade Of Action”
