Boston Scott made his Rams' debut against Dallas

Boston Scott made his debut with the Los Angeles Rams against the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday.  The Rams are hoping that he can morph his role of GIANT SLAYER to something relevant that benefits the Los Angeles Rams, and Scott destroying their NFC West rivals, providing that same spark he gave the Eagles.

The Los Angeles Rams running back room seems to be one of the most exciting in the NFL including Kyren Williams, rookie Blake Corum, and hopefully Boston Scott.  Scott ran for 68 yards on 15 carries with 3 catches in Sunday’s 13 -12 win over the Dallas Cowboys.  He would be a great addition to the Rams ground arsenal.  During Training Camp practices, I observed the stature of the Rams leading RB candidates for this upcoming season and noticed that three of them were of similar stature.  Williams, Corum, and Scott are all under 5’10”, yet possess tackle breaking ability, power, and enough speed to outrun defenders.  I immediately thought to myself, “the genius innovator McVay is at it again.”  In a conversation with Boston Scott during training camp, he admitted to McVay being the catalyst in him selecting the Rams as a free agent.  McVay’s schemes and innovative style of coaching should benefit Scott, as well as the Los Angeles Rams in utilizing Scott’s skill set during LAR’s 2024 NFL Season.
