Boston extends the series to a Game 6 after defeating the Heat, 121-108

Orlando- Boston cooled down the Heat, as they iced Game 5 to extend the series.

In the elimination game against the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics started off slow, but picked up the insanity in the second quarter, as they went on a 12-4 run to cut the lead to single digits. Marcus Smart was a key factor with getting the Celtics back into the game. Smart contested shots and had a couple of blocks that started the run. Kemba Walker had a tough night early in the game, as he got himself into foul trouble. Walker had three fouls at the break and only had eight points. Miami went on a 10-5 run to close out the half with a 58-51 lead.

The Celtics went on a 9-0 run to start the second half and tied the game up. This was the fist time that the Celtics had a chance to take the lead in the game after being down double digits. Jayen Brown and Jayson Tatum started to get rolling, as they combined for 10 points in the third to give themselves a double digit cushion. Boston was shooting around 45% from the field and around 35% behind the arc.

The Celtics' defense stiffened and had four steals in the fourth. Walker, Smart, and Brown was hitting their shots and on the defensive side made it hard for Miami to get going. Boston took full control and got the much needed victory. Five players were in double figure for the Celtics.
