Despite the New York Yankees paying homage to Brett Gardner's son, who passed away last week, the sunshine and rays from the sky fell on the Yankees, as Austin Wells became the first cater in league history to hit a home run to lead off an opening Day Game. Now, you would think Yankees' fans would be happy, but the game got really tight in the late innings against the Brewers as Devin Williams had players on bases with zero outs. He made up for it as he struck out Christian Yelich in the bottom of the ninth to give the Yankees their first win of the season, 4-2.
