Atlanta Hawks collaborate with GRAMMY Award-winning Artist Killer Mike for ’23-’24 schedule

The Atlanta Hawks teamed up with GRAMMY Award-winning artist Killer Mike for a special announcement video. Atlanta highlighted the biggest matchups of the upcoming season in a special script narrated by Killer Mike who is a father, husband, activist, business owner and a significant figure in the Atlanta area. Atlanta Hawks will include matchups against Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat and the New York Knicks.

The Hawks will be playing in the NBA’s first In-Season Tournament. The Group stage games will take place in November and include commemorative giveaways while supplies last. “Killer Mike is a part of the Hawks family. His impact, his music and his words continue to be heard by a global audience, and we’re glad to partner with him and amplify his phenomenal new album ‘Michael’ with our scheduled release,” Hawks EVP and Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Proctor stated.

Michael Render (Killer Mike) was raised in the Adamsville/Collier Heights neighborhood on the Northwest side of the city. His family ties to a civil rights activist and advocate tie from his grandfather and grandmother helping him become socially and politically active in his own right. He and his wife partnered to open S.W.A.G. Shop at State Farm Arena during the $192M renovation. The barbershop overlooks action on the floor and provides a chance for fans to look their best during game days. Single-game tickets for the Atlanta Hawks will be available for purchase on Monday, August 28th.
