Ashley Menne continues to make history

Scottsdale, Arizona is where it all went down, and history was made! Ashley Menne won the 2023 Arizona Female Amateur State Championship. Menne was crowned at the Desert Highlands Golf course where the championship was held.

This was a huge accomplishment for Menne, the Sun Devil. This is her third time winning this championship. In the history of Arizona, Ashley is only the 4th golfer to win the 3-stroke play in her amatuer career. She beat out some stars such as Arkansas' Abbey Schutte, Colorado's Carolyn Fuller, Cal Poly's Vannesa Wang, and UCLA's Jennifer Seo, among other amazing athletes.

"What an amazing accomplishment for Menne to win the AZ State Am for the third time," Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye exclaimed. "She joins an amazing group of Sun Devils including my sister Heather. We are so proud of Ashley and all of her many accomplishments and are excited to see what successes her upcoming Senior year will unfold.". Menne also won in 2020 and 2021.
