Arkansas defeats Colegate to advance to the next round 85-68
Arkansas- Despite a slow start, the Razorbacks' defense got the stops they needed down the stretch to advance to the next round .
In the first half, the Arkansas Razorbacks started off a tad bit slow. They could not get into rhythm in the first four minutes of the game against the Colegate Raiders and struggled to knock down shots. Justin Smith and Moses Moody started to heat up with under 10 minutes left in half. Both players at the seven minute mark combined for 14 points, however the Razorbacks' offense started to stall. A couple missed shots, lead to transition points for the Raiders and they started to pull away mid-way in the half, going on a 8-0 run.
After a double digit scare, the Razorbacks got themselves back in the game by pushing the ball aggressive and knocking down high quality shots. Before the end of the half, the Razorbacks went on a 6-0 run to take the lead 36-33.
In the second half, it was a very close game, as both teams went back and forth hitting crucial buckets down until the seven minute mark. Arkansas went on a 12-2 run to break the game open and went on to win 85-68
