With under five seconds left in regulation and a tie game between the Nuggets and Lakers, Davis hits a contested shot at the end of regulation to shock the Nuggets. Davis finished the game with 31 points, 2 assists, and 9 rebounds. Outside of Davis, LeBron James had 26 points, 4 assists, and 11 rebounds. The Lakers controlled the glass, as they had 44 rebounds and made it hard for the Nuggets to get second chance opportunities.
The Lakers got very lucky in Game 2, because the Nuggets put the Lakers in a lot of foul trouble and that knocked the Lakers' rhythm off a bit. Another key factor that kept the Nuggets in the game was the amount of turnovers that the Lakers had.
