Anthony Davis plays big in win over the 76ers
Anthony Davis recorded 31 points and 9 rebounds in a much-needed victory over the 76ers, 116-106.
This season, Davis has looked like he has been on a mission with averaging 32 points and 11 rebounds in the early part of the first half of the NBA season. In a much-needed victory to get the concerns off their backs, Davis had a monster game.
From start to finish, Davis demanded the ball and took advantage of the smaller defenders, which was guarding him. In the first half, he had 15 and helped the Lakers build a decent lead against Philly. Outside of Davis', D Lo looked like his all-star self and contributed with 18 points.
Now, I know the offense will get a lot of credit with the win, but their defense held Paul George to nine points and collective held the team with shooting 41%. This was a huge win and a confidence booster the purple and gold as they continue to find their identity within line-us.
