Anthony Davis hits the jackpot, scoring 40 points in a 116-110 victory over Memphis

LeBron James set the tone for the Lakers within the first three minutes of the game. After getting a steal, he took flight and dunked the ball like he was in his 20's, got back onto defense and blocked a shot. I guess James' energy energized his teammates, because Anthony Davis was like give me the ball and get out of my way.

Davis put Memphis in his torture chamber and went to work. From scoring inside and out, the "Brow" was aligning everything and there wasn't anything that the Grizzles could do. With needing a bucket late in the fourth, Davis rolled the dice and hit the dagger to send the young bears home without any Christmas gifts. The lakers shot around 50% from the field.

This win was confident boost for the Lakers, who have struggled to find their identity.
