Aneesah Morrow continues to lead LSU to victory

Considering that Aneesah Morrow just led No. 6 LSU to a 73-63 victory against Auburn on Sunday, it is safe to say that she is the most outstanding player in the country. This is after a 21-point and 14-rebounds performance

In addition to leading the nation in rebounding (14 per game) and double doubles (15), Morrow helped keep the Tigers unbeaten (17-0, 2-0 SEC).

Kailyn Gilbert added 17 points, Flau'Jae Johnson added 12, and Mikaylah Williams contributed 10.

The Auburn Tigers (9-6, 0-2) were led by DeYona Gaston, who scored 16 points in 16 minutes despite foul trouble for most of the day.

Gaston, who entered the day averaging 23.2 points, was smothered by LSU's defense and foul trouble.   In the fourth quarter, she scored 10 points.   LSU outscored Auburn 44-30 in the paint without Gaston.

Morrow's exceptional performance has solidified her role as a key player for LSU, elevating the team's confidence and competitiveness this season. Her dominance in rebounding and consistent double-doubles have provided the Tigers with a reliable foundation on both ends of the court. As LSU continues its unbeaten streak, Morrow's contributions will be crucial in maintaining their momentum and securing a strong position in the SEC standings.
