After losing to the Seahawks 30-25, the Rams will host the Vikings in the first round of the playoffs

The Los Angeles Rams' regular-season finale was watched by Matthew Stafford and nearly all of his offensive teammates in street clothes.   Sean McVay knew the NFC West champions would fall to the fourth playoff seed if they lost to Seattle, but he didn't care about that.  However, Garoppolo and the backups nearly beat the Seattle Seahawks anyway, which could hold a key   to next week's contest.

The loss means Los Angeles will be the No.  4 seed in the NFC and host the Vikings who lost to the Lions tonight.  Next weekend in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

The Rams will need to contend with the Vikings' strong offensive plays led by their talented quarterback and dynamic receivers. Additionally, the Vikings' defense has been known to disrupt opposing offenses, which could pose a significant challenge for the Rams' offensive line. The Rams will also have to focus on minimizing turnovers to increase their chances of advancing in the playoffs.
