Coach K will advance to his 13 Final Four appearance as Duke laid the smack down on Arkansas 78-69

The wonder team Blue Devils are shocking the world right now. With all the excitement of the NCAA tournament, very few fans had Duke making it this far. Each win of go home game, it seemed like the Blue Devils thrived in the last minute of games. to pull out a scrappy and hard fought victory With a trip to return back to the Final Four, all they had to do was defeat the stonewall team in Arkansas, which was not an easy task.


The pace at the start of the game was very up-temp and much more outside to in shot selections, as well as basket cuts from the Blue Devils. Mark Williams put his imprint on the game throughout the first half. Williams had hustle points blocking shots, as well as being the trailer, which turned into easy-lay ups on second chance opportunities for him. He set the tone with being the aggressor, which trickled down to his teammates.


At one point, Duke had an eight point lead, which was the largest lead for them at the time. However, Jaylin Williams had something to say about cutting the lead down. Williams started to heat up and hit three consecutive shots to cut the Blue Devils; lead to four at the six minute mark of the first half. The key factor with the Blue Devils getting easy buckets was their points in the paint. They finished the half with 28 points in the paint and had a double digit lead at the break, 45-33.


The Blue Devils took charge midway in the second half. They went on a 12-4 run and built up a 15 point lead. The Razorbacks did all they could, but they could not match up with Duke. Duke went on to win and will advanced to another Final Four.
